Invitation to Red Heads' Spitfire Fund Gala Ball, Grand Hotel
Britain's redheads eventually subscribed 5000 to buy a Spitfire as part of a fund organised by the Marquis of Donegall which presented the aircraft to fellow redhead Flying Officer Keith "Bluey" Truscott of 452 Squadron Royal Australian Air Force. This ticket (cost 5 shillings) was for a fundraising Gala Ball at the Grand Hotel in June 1941.
